Perfect , very comfortable
Our much-loved Wintec Elastic Girth (long), in a classic Newmarket colour that's now been discontinued.
A fully elastic centre means the whole girth stretches with your horse as they work, not just one end of it. Anti-galling material sits against the skin, and the fittings are high-quality stainless steel.
Final sale: Our clearance stock may have been on display at events or in store. All clearance products are sold as final sale and can't be returned or exchanged for change of mind, so please check the size and model carefully before ordering.
The chart shows the measurements of the Wintec Elastic Girth (long).
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.
Which saddles does it suit?
Saddles with short girth points, such as Wintec all purpose and jump saddles. For long girth points, choose the Wintec Elastic Girth (short).
How does it differ from the Wintec Chafeless Elastic Girth (long)?
Both stretch through a fully elastic centre. The chafeless version adds a curved shape that reduces material behind the elbow.
Does it have a CAIR Cushion?
No. For a CAIR Cushion in the centre, look at the Wintec Miracle Girth (long) or the Wintec Anatomic Girth (long).
Can I return it?
Not for change of mind. Clearance products are final sale, so please check the size and model carefully before ordering.
It depends on the girth points on your saddle, not on your horse. Saddles with short girth points take a long girth. Our All Purpose and Jump saddles have short girth points. Length still depends on your horse, so check with your saddle fitter or retailer before you choose.
We take care with our photos, but the saddles and gear in our lifestyle shots won't always be the exact product on this page. Some are there to show off a feature, like being weatherproof or easy to clean.
The product photos and description are the best guide to what you're buying. If you're not sure, just get in touch and we'll check for you.
Hose it off after riding and hang it up to dry.
It is easy-care, so there is nothing more to it.
