Perfect thank you .
Every width in one handy kit, so whatever the season brings, you and your horse are ready. Spring grass, a fitness push or a quiet winter off, just swap the gullet and keep riding.
Inside you'll find an EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge, five gullets and all the fixings to fit them. The medium (black) gullet comes fitted in most Wintec saddles, so it isn't in the kit, and High Wither models come with a medium narrow (green).
How does the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System work?
The gullet sets the width of your saddle, so swapping it changes the width. The EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge gives you a starting point. Use only genuine EASY-CHANGE gullets, as damage caused by non-genuine parts isn't covered by the warranty.
What do I need to change it?
A long-handled Phillips head number 3 screwdriver. The first change usually takes a little longer than the ones after. If you're unsure at any point, your saddle fitter or retailer can do it for you.
Standard saddles take six gullets, colour-coded by size: narrow 210 mm, medium narrow 220 mm, medium 230 mm, medium wide 240 mm, wide 245 mm and extra wide 255 mm. Each is measured across the inside at its widest point, with a 3 mm tolerance either way. These are for reference, not for fitting. To find the right gullet for your horse, use the EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge and the advice of your saddle fitter.
We take care with our photos, but the saddles and gear in our lifestyle shots won't always be the exact product on this page. Some are there to show off a feature, like being weatherproof or easy to clean.
The product photos and description are the best guide to what you're buying. If you're not sure, just get in touch and we'll check for you.
Wipe each gullet clean before you fit it.
Keep the spares in the kit with the fixings and the gauge, somewhere clean and dry, ready for the next change.
