Absolutely amazing saddle. I adore it, three months into riding in it and I couldn’t be happier.
Ready for all-day saddle comfort? Whether you are out on a scenic ride or starting young horses, the Wintec 500 HB gives you the support and stability to get the job done.
It is fitted with a fender rather than traditional stirrup leathers, which a lot of riders find far more comfortable once the hours add up. There is a short fender option if that suits you better.
Do not sweat about getting caught in the rain. This weatherproof saddle means you keep going no matter the weather.
For your horse, super-soft panels mould in and around their muscles, hugging their conformation, so you can ride all day with the peace of mind that they are comfortable too.
This saddle features all the benefits of Horse and Rider Technology, which we call HART.
Both use a fender rather than stirrup leathers, and both adjust within a range of centimetres. The difference is leg length rather than preference, so check the measurement chart in the gallery above against the leg you ride with. It does not affect how the saddle fits your horse.
Approximate weight: 10.3 kg/22.7 lb. Weights vary a little by size and options.
Your saddle, fitted as standard with a medium (black) gullet. Stirrup straps and a girth are sold separately.
Riders often add an EASY-CHANGE gullet pack so they have every width to hand, an EASY-CHANGE riser pack for adjusting panel depth, a pair of stirrup straps and a girth.
Fit is about comfort, balance and performance rather than any single number, so we would always start with a saddle fitter you trust. If you are close to buying and want the detail, a measurement diagram is the last image in the gallery above. The measurements provided are intended as a guide only. Due to the organic shape of equestrian products and the inherent subjectivity of the measuring process, slight variations may occur. We have made every effort to ensure accuracy, rounding measurements to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches. Please consider these figures as close approximations rather than exact values.
Suggestions only. Girth length and gullet size depend on your horse, so please check with your saddle fitter or stockist before ordering.
