Very beautiful and comfortable for both the rider and horse..
Light, and double the fun. WintecLite saddles are so light that tacking up is a breeze, and that one fact changes more about your riding day than any feature list can.
Life is too short for heavy tack. If you have ever wrestled a leather saddle onto a 16.2 hand horse at six in the morning, this will feel like cheating. Tacking up stops being the hard part of the ride.
HART: Horse and Rider Technology
When your horse’s comfort comes first, Horse and Rider Technology is essential for enjoying your time in the saddle, free from worry, and to the fullest.
The chart shows the main measurements of the WintecLite All Purpose for each seat size. Use it to compare with the saddle you ride in now.
For you
For your horse
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.
How is it different from the WintecLite All Purpose D'Lux?
The WintecLite All Purpose is made in durable, quick-drying Equi-Fabric. The D'Lux is made in soft, grippy Equi-Suede.
How do I change the cantle?
Gently lift the old cantle away from the edge, centre the new one using the line on its back, then press down and smooth it from the centre out to the edges. WintecLite All Purpose Cantles let you change the look.
What length girth does it take?
It has long girth points, so it takes a short girth such as the Wintec Elastic Girth (short).
Approximate weight: 3.9 kg/8.6 lb. Weights vary a little by size and options. Your saddle, fitted as standard with a medium (black) gullet. Stirrup straps and a girth are not included. Riders often add an EASY-CHANGE gullet pack so they have every width to hand, an EASY-CHANGE riser pack for adjusting panel depth, a pair of stirrup straps and a girth. Fit is about comfort, balance and performance rather than any single number, so we would always start with a saddle fitter you trust. For the detail, see the size guide. The measurements provided are intended as a guide only. Due to the organic shape of equestrian products and the inherent subjectivity of the measuring process, slight variations may occur. We have made every effort to ensure accuracy, rounding measurements to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converting them to inches. Please consider these figures as close approximations rather than exact values.
We take care with our photos, but the saddles and gear in our lifestyle shots won't always be the exact product on this page. Some are there to show off a feature, like being weatherproof or easy to clean.
The product photos and description are the best guide to what you're buying. If you're not sure, just get in touch and we'll check for you.
Hose or wipe off sweat and dirt after riding.
Your Wintec saddle is easy-care, so it needs no oiling or waxing.
For a deeper clean, use Wintec Saddle Cleaner.
The CAIR cushions are never adjusted themselves, and opening the CAIR security tape voids the warranty.

Light does not mean flimsy. Your leg drops into a natural groove, contact gets quieter, and the seat grips exactly where you need it to. Just as at home on a trail as in a lesson.
The cantle comes off, so you can run a reflective one for early starts and dark evenings, or a blank one personalised with your horse's name.
For your horse, super-soft panels mould in and around their muscles, hugging their unique conformation whether training or competing in any discipline.
