Size guide
The chart shows the main measurements of the Wintec 250 All Purpose for each seat size. Use it to compare with the saddle you ride in now.
For you
- Seat size depends on your build, the length of your thigh and the riding you do, so compare with a saddle you already find comfortable.
- If you are between sizes, try both if you can, or ask your saddle fitter or retailer.
For your horse
- Fit is about comfort, balance and how your horse moves, not one number on a chart, so we would always start with a qualified saddle fitter you trust.
- The width can be changed with the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System, so you or your saddle fitter can adjust it as your horse changes shape.
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.
-
What can I adjust on this saddle?
The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System lets you swap the gullet to change the width of your saddle. It does not have the EASY-CHANGE Riser System, and adjustments within the traditional flock panel are a job for your saddler.Which girth goes with it?
A long girth such as the Wintec Elastic Girth (long). Length depends on your horse, so check with your saddle fitter or stockist. -
Approximate weight: 5.2 kg/11.5 lb. Weights vary a little by size and options. Your saddle, fitted as standard with a medium (black) gullet. Stirrup straps and a girth are not included. Riders often add an EASY-CHANGE gullet pack so they have every width to hand, a pair of stirrup straps and a girth. Fit is about comfort, balance and performance rather than any single number, so we would always start with a saddle fitter you trust. For the detail, see the size guide. The measurements provided are intended as a guide only. Due to the organic shape of equestrian products and the inherent subjectivity of the measuring process, slight variations may occur. We have made every effort to ensure accuracy, rounding measurements to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converting them to inches. Please consider these figures as close approximations rather than exact values.
