The chart shows the main measurements of the Wintec 500 HB for each seat size. Use it to compare with the saddle you ride in now.
For you
- Seat size depends on your build, the length of your thigh and the riding you do, so compare with a saddle you already find comfortable.
- If you are between sizes, try both if you can, or ask your saddle fitter or retailer.
For your horse
- Fit is about comfort, balance and how your horse moves, not one number on a chart, so we would always start with a qualified saddle fitter you trust.
- The width can be changed with the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System, so you or your saddle fitter can adjust it as your horse changes shape.
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.

Short fender or standard fender?
Both use a fender rather than stirrup leathers and both adjust within a range. The difference is leg length, so check the measurement chart against your leg. It does not change how the saddle fits your horse.Do I need stirrup straps?
No. Stirrups come fitted to the fenders, so you only need to add a girth.What length girth does it take?
It has long girth points, so it takes a short girth such as the Wintec Miracle Girth (short). -

Superb Saddle
I've been riding in my new saddle for a few weeks now and I'm very impressed. Superbly comfortable, lighter than a leather saddle, fits my Thoroughbreds amazingly, have done over 100km in the saddle so far and not a single problem for rider or horse. I'd absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting a comfortable saddle for long periods in the saddle.
