These fit so nicely
Research has shown that concentrated pressure on a horse's sternum is not just uncomfortable, it holds them back.
The CAIR Cushion System uses air technology to spread pressure evenly over a greater area rather than pressing it into one spot. The fluid cushioning of air is what makes the difference, and it is the same technology used in our CAIR saddle panels.
The chart shows the measurements of the Wintec Anatomic Girth.
Measurements are a guide only. They are rounded to the nearest 0.5 cm and then converted to inches, and the organic shape of saddlery means small differences between pieces are normal.
Why should I size up?
Because of the central CAIR Cushion, it is recommended that you go one to two sizes up from your measured length.
Which way round does it go?
The arrows on the girth point towards your horse's head, marked NS for near side and OS for off side.
Which saddles does it suit?
Saddles with long girth points, such as Wintec dressage, stock, endurance, WintecLite, WIDE and Kids saddles. For short girth points, choose the Wintec Anatomic Girth (long).
It depends on the girth points on your saddle, not on your horse. Saddles with long girth points take a short girth. Our Dressage, Stock, Endurance, WintecLite, WIDE and Kids saddles have long girth points. Length still depends on your horse, so check with your saddle fitter or stockist before you choose.
We take care with our photos, but the saddles and gear in our lifestyle shots won't always be the exact product on this page. Some are there to show off a feature, like being weatherproof or easy to clean.
The product photos and description are the best guide to what you're buying. If you're not sure, just get in touch and we'll check for you.
Hose or wipe off sweat and dirt after riding and hang the girth up to dry naturally, away from direct heat.
